No, I think you're confusing two arguments that have nothing to do with one another. I also don't see how my posts endorse 'ripping off naive ebay sellers.' Please don't twist my words to make some misguided point of your own. If you want to argue the ethics of buying and selling, I'm more than interested in doing so, but I'll need more than sound bites from you.
I think all Daniel is trying to say psilo, is that as collectors we TRY to help each other out here on SB. This hobby is pretty expensive. People here are very informed. The whole "don't shit where you eat policy". The rest of the world, well that's a different story. Like Daniel said, if you don't know enough not to research something you're listing on ebay- someone might get a bargain. I mean truthfully in this day an age of shows, the internet, people looking etc etc, how rare is it that you come across a listing where you MIGHT get a steal? It's a collectors dream. Haven't you ever bought something really cheap that should have gone for more and felt good? I know I have. Again not trying to start shit just trying to show you the other side of the argument.
