I was in a great store in Vancouver over the weekend called El Kartel. They had a few paintings by an artist I had never heard of named Ben Tour, check out www.thetourshow.com to see his work. I asked about the paintings, which were all sold, so the manager told me about their next show with Luke Ramsey (opens May 27th). Apparently Mr. Ramsey has done some work for Strange Co and then the manager said almost absentmindedly that he has also done work “for this underground Japanese toy company.” I asked what company and you guessed it Luke Ramsey has done work for Secret Base. Here is his site http://www.mebeme.com . Does anyone know what he has done for secret base? Does anyone know who this Mr Ramsey is and what he has done for Strange Co and SB?
Kinda looks like the Freinds with me or you or whatever the plush/wood toy company is. The drawings have that vibe. Never heard of him otherwise.
