hot damn stealthtank... half your collection is like, holy grail status (& looks pretty too). here's an updated photo of my collection
So sad. That Zudon is face down in a box. In a closet. I can provide him a good home. I got three four-story condos he can choose from. Great neighbors too.
mr. zudon is happy there. i think his eyeball kept on following me. creeped me out, so he will be staying face down
Looking good stealthtank. The Gargamel shelf looks amazing and I can spot a lot of killer RxH stuff too. Rhino, I think I've got more computers in my closet than you...
the crazy part is trying to remember what all I have and then trying to find something if I need it... most of the boxes are labeled but it's kinda hard to get into some of those corners and dig through everything... the closet located to the left is also filled with shit....
Are you in the process of moving to a new space or are all these boxes simply in storage for a looong time ? Impressive nevertheless...
COLLIN: actually there are a lot of prints... books... etc... not so many toys, the western stuff is actually located in the left hand corner next to the secret base guyssssss... KURUMONZ: the manadrake box has a milk ice blob & poisonous dokugan in it... ZAAIER: simply in storage for a looong time...
Wow, this thread sure took a different turn. From a set up like Stealthtank's which appears perfectly balanced and considered to closets full of boxes. The boxed scenario was quickly becoming where a majority of my collection was ending up too. A few months ago I couldn't take it any more though and tried really hard to get most of it out and on display. To me this raises a lot of questions about why we buy this stuff and at what point does it simply not make sense anymore? I've only been in the game a short time compared to many people here, especially the long time vintage collectors, but it seems strange to have all of this stuff tucked away out of sight when the very reason a person buys it in the first place is because they like the way it looks. At least I assume so? I'd be interested to know how people feel about this. Do you go through the boxes from time to time to revisit your stuff? Do you just keep collecting in the hope of one day having a place to actually display it all? With the volume that many people buy these days we'll all need our own museum in a few years time!
