Will SB Mantis arms fit in Skullbrain torsos?

Has anyone tried to swap arms and are they compatible?

 

I tried and couldn't make it work, even with a lot of heating. The flash on the Mantis arms just seemed too big to fit. It might work for someone else, but it'd take a lot of pushing and bending. I thought it would give the Brain a fun "monkey arms" look.

 

Thanks... I figured it might not work since I haven't seen anyone do it yet...
