I have a clear time-traveler-esque figure like this, with swappable arm attachments and would also like to know...

They're MyClone trading figures sold by Takara in 2002 or so.

Thereabouts. I would say they are comparable to the regular Kubricks.

Yes same scale roughly as Kubricks. This particular piece is based on an unproduced Henshin Cyborg design (note the Invader chest) You can find the design in the Takara SF Land Book. There were several series of Myclone toys covering Microman, Henshin Cyborg, Transformers, and various other homage toys.

You can see the design in this thread on VI:
    http://www.visibleinnards.org/forum/vie ... =prototype

Microforever has a nice bit of coverage on them:

You can actually find them pretty cheaply on ebay for about $45-$60 a box (12 pieces). The chase figures are a pain to track down though. The worst of which to find are the Animyclone jaguars and condors.

FWIW, about 4-5 years ago I spotted unopened counter boxes of MYCLONE figures at this Japanese discount housewares store in Chinatown. Selling for about $30-$40 per box. You can see them on eBay every now and then as well. So there is a chance of finding these locally if you live in NYC.

I have a few of those guys. They are quite cool little toys and I would love to someday get the ones I'm missing.

I picked up a box of these last trip to Japan, they are a bit bigger than Bearbrick size but kind of heavy. I really like them. The box I purchased was sealed. I only opened 6 of them as my display was full, I assume you get all 12 in a carton. As stated above I paid around $30 dollars US for the box. They come with a small stand that interlocks so you can attach them to each other. I'm looking forward to displaying the set.

There are anywhere from 2-4 chase figures per series as well. Most of those are really difficult to track down. The regular figures are all pretty easy to get or they were a year or two ago. If anyone has any of the chase figures they want to get rid of let me know. I have a bunch but still missing some. I only kept the figures that were Micro/Henshin related. I'll try to get around to take some pics of some of them if anyone is interested.

I'd enjoy seeing the chase figs if you have pictures? I did not know there were any, I figured you got one of each in the carton? I'll open the rest this week and take a picture as well.

Thanks Patrick! The stuff may have just switched order when I dusted a bit months ago revealing something else, it's pretty packed on my shelves haha. Yeah there are actually 2. The plain jaguar is from Series 1 Animyclone, and the costumed version is from Series 2 Animyclone. I'm still in need of some of the Condors (Silver Condor is S1, there is also a clear red and a clear blue from various toy show sets/giveways) I just got the jaguars while on vacation this year after a lot of years of searching a lot of opened Animyclone toys hahah.
