Re: Yamomaku figures As my avatar shows, my bias toward Yamomark is evident. Amefurushi (black) was my first foray into the company, and I love it. So bizarre. King Koran is super cool--the price tag was the only thing staving me off. I had to decide and Barabaran won my money. This dude is whack-o, in a Rainbow sort of way. Very cool.
Re: Yamomaku figures The in-process sculpt of the standard size Yamo Bazooka was posted on Yamomark's blog earlier today: I'm not usually into kaijin toys, but the simple sculpt and intricate detail really mesh well. Nice homage to the Kame Bazooka from Kamen Rider, and it's also a clever play on the regenerative properties of lizards. No ETA, but I'm really looking forward to the finished toy.

I'm really liking the Pink Barabaran, but if you want your mind blown check the new figure on Yamo Blog Some of the descriptive text loosely translated (via google): Fear of mushroom soup man named. Phantom of horror burst from a boiling pot of mushroom soup...Snails will be on the shoulder and talk to when lonely. The mini below the 1st figure is pretty bad ass too.

Both of those sets are from Grumble, they did 2 versions of the kaijins on GID. It's cool how they are making... Fearsome Mushroom Soup Man more human with the pants compared to the completely overgrown mini. The snail on the shoulder is a great detail. I pray for GID standard sized counterparts someday.
Shit -- All of the blog's pictures seem to be down. Can someone else maybe rehost them and post them? Maybe they'll come back up soon though.
The website has been super slow all day, it took me endless refreshing to actually get the pictures to come up. I assume it will get better eventually. (i looked at the pics an hour or so ago, sorry I didnt save them)
