This beauty just came in. Only a face a mother can love. The vinyl is weird. The head, arms and legs are squishy. The vinyl for the body is hard. To clean or not to clean... Edit: I cleaned.
So it looks like there's at least 4-5 versions of the Vintage Uchu-Genjin (Rokuron). 1. Brown vinyl w/ Brown spray & Green face (Left in Pic from CKA) 2. Brown vinyl w/ Brown spray & Pale face (Right in Pic from CKA) I don't believe the Pale face is a faded Green face as previously thought. If someone is 100% sure that it is, please let me know. Here's a closeup of my Pale face Uchu-Genjin. 3. Red vinyl w/ Brown spray & Green face (Josh's) Gargamel's Rokuron looking pretty sweet too. Loving the vintage color tribute. 4. Red vinyl w/ Brown spray (Pic from Auction) 5. Red vinyl w/ Brown spray & Gold highlights w/ Pink lips (Mine) Here's a closeup of the Gold highlights & Pink lips. I'm not too sure if the Red vinyl version w/o Gold highlights is just because it faded away or not. If someone is 100% sure, please let me know. But based on these pics, the one w/o Gold is also missing Pink lips as the one above. (Pics from Auction) Anyways, sorry for the long post w/ so many pictures. Here's one more! My two Uchu-Genjins.
Those are just a sight to behold. They remind me of some ancient hand-carved wooden artifact. Just beautiful!
let me start off by saying i didnt win the first auction . with over two hours left on ebay i decided to go to wallmart and get an oil change . i kept looking at the clock and wondering when they were going to call my name . made it home to find i missed the auction by four minutes and it ended at $125 .IM PISSED! last time i ever get my oil changed at wallyworld . two weeks later, the same auction comes up and i get for $122 .go figure .
I feel better that some one on the board got it. I was so pissed when I didn't make it home for this.
Saw one of these for auctions a few weeks back, was this the one that sold or were there two separate auctions? Also you guys that actually make loot need to invest in a phone with net access, you never need to worry about losing then. I have an itouch and have won some items using that (only at my home base though, if I could afford iphone full service I would)
