This is absolutely nuts. I am not sure if anyone is/was bidding on anything ending in the last little while, but it is massive. While I cannot see Yahoo making all the sellers across the platform relist every single item for sale on there that was up in this interim period, I also am not sure how they are going to handle end prices. Always good to get your bids in early, even on YJA these days, 'cause you never know. No matter how they handle it, I suspect there will be a pretty huge crowd of upset people over this.
Just when I had a thing in my sights, the thing glitches out of existence. This does seem like an event that could rock a business significantly. A good deal of $$$ being lost at the moment, and counting.
I think the mostly likely scenario is they are going to have to honour anything ended as it was, so massive fingers and toes (and seaweed limbs!) crossed for you on that auction.
Still ongoing for me. Selfishly, I kind of wish I was in the mix on one of those Marusan Garamons when this happened. I would take the glitch win and celebrate to the stars and back. With the way things are now I really only have a shot with some kind of once every several years/act of flying spaghetti monster type intervention. Sigh.
Yes it does all seem to be restored right now, but for some time there (in internet terms, obv) everything was down/returning no data, either directly or through any interfaces.
I just got a delayed notice from an auction win. But don't yet see if anything has changed from an auction that I had a snipe bid on, a few hundred over what it says was the final price... Not that someone else didn't bid another few over me. Just interesting.
