YJA search features

Recently YJA changed the layout of their pages. There used to be a tool bar at the bottow where you could check a "new" button, enter it, and get all the newly listed items (last 24 hrs). Since the change, I see there is a tool bar on the left side of the page. The dropdown list at the bottom has a "new" button, but when I check it and enter I keep getting no results. Can anyone tell me how to search newly listed items again? Thanks much.
