It was actually really great. I've seen so many reunions that just failed miserably but last night was really really great. I was also just as excited to see the Stitches as well who were just as I thought they would be...awful..as in awfully good. loved it! The bodies also opened and I was pleasantly surprised. I only had one record but they were incredibly tight. I need to get the other records no asap. Zero boys hit the stage like a bomb and ripped through the "hits". ended the set with 13th Floor Elevators You're Gonna Miss Me. best show I've seen in awhile.
Holy crap, they're on the reunion train as well? Who's in the band now, aside from Paul Mahern? Good to hear it went well though, they were always great guys.
Paul, tufty, unsure of who was playing guitar now and couldn't see the drummer. Honestly it was exactly how I think reunion shows should be. They only did 2 shows in all ages clubs with good current bands. No attitude and all the young kids who are actually buying the records got to see them. It felt sincere and great. I think they are playing 3 shows this yeat. These 2 and a fest in Indianapolis. The opening for "vicious circle" was intense!
