I thought the whole aspect of the "this is what sailor life in HI was like" was really interesting too. Straightedge, I actually fell asleep for about 15 minutes as we were doing the outside of the elbow. lol
Also this thread needs more toy related tattoos: here is another one by one of the guys I used work with. Its not on me obvs. Say what you want about the toy but the tattoo is great. By James Cumberland who now works at Livewire tattoo in Florida.
Wow that is awesome! So many good people out of FL now. Have you seen this My Pet Monster tattoo that was posted on Mishka a while back? http://mishkanyc.com/bloglin/2009/10/30 ... -all-done/
The rabbit gets lots of comments. I just felt like getting a jackrabbit one day and my artist made it happen.
once again another tattoo by one of the gentleman I used to work with. Ken brown again from tattoo revival in Virginia. Skullpirate with candy cane crutches(don't ask)
Ah, no wonder it seemed oddly familiar. Cool idea and great artist rendition of those characters. Did you draw it out?
No no, Alex Mcwatt of three kings tattoo in Brooklyn. He's been helping me get a BIG kaiju piece done. Upper arms and chest should be covered by the summer if things go right. For example if I can afford it.
