Sorry to disappoint you guys, but it's actually a Pachinko Parlor somewhere on the southern edge of Koenji, up the road a ways from Ichibanboshi (sofubi shop). I tried playing Pachinko once. I was pretty hot on the old Pinball tables in my youth & so I thought I'd give it a go. Lost 3000yen in s...

Shit, I knew someone was gonna ask that ... I just assumed it was Chinese I'm afraid. There were some American actors in it though, so Paul could be right, it may have been Thai. It was playing off a DVD, but that may have been home-recorded. There's a lot of weird stuff on late-nite cable here. Bai...

http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i85/Aliceshouse/061110_170301.jpg Dehara-san has a new show here. There are MANY clay figs this time (far more than I could get pix of). They are grouped into three themes: Zombie Children, Japanese Homeless People, and Ro-jin, or 'Old People'. I love the Zombie Ch...

... And they want to "Borrow your head!" Turns out these were based on some completely mental old Chinese horror movie which we were treated to a screening of at Pachikaiju last night. (The dolls themselves were our 'omiyage' and one of the best things I picked up!) This witch utters the i...

This is very funny stuff! I posted about Ronnie Johns a while ago, but no-one took much notice. I'm reposting in the light of the interest shown in his 'Premier Speaks' skit ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wHy3aPXv7PE ). You can just go to You-tube & do a search for 'ronnie johns': ( http://www...

It's def a gurl in the 'Ultra-Q' episode. In fact she's a mommy. She comes ashore to rescue her baby who's been found and adopted by some pesky kids or something. (Actually I forget the details, but there's probably some 'pesky kids' in it somewhere) That's prob MR. Ragon in the Ultraman episode ...

Yeah, shouldn't it be "Collect Or Die"?
Reads too much like "Collector Death" to me...
which is, er, kinda creepy.
And is that "More Slogans" bit an invitation?
Does my spider sense detect a competition?

Thanx Loco!
Some of those pix on p1 must've been the opening nite party.
And there are more paintings there than I saw, I'm pretty sure.
Perhaps they had to put some stuff away to make room for the toys.
Don't think anything's for sale though anyway...

Harajuku is normally the domain of the teen fashion victims of Tokyo. The hangout of the Gothic Lolitas, where every second boy is wearing a Bathing Ape T-shirt and the lines outside some of the clothing stores make the line at Wonder Festival look weak. It is also home to Secret Base and Bounty Hun...

Can't you buy these in Walmart or somewhere?
Maybe even a supermarket, in like the cooking & baking bit.
The best-known brand is 'Ziploc' I think ...

This isn't a trick question is it?

Recent TV commercials for Canon have been featuring a bunch of kids and GODZILLA sporting rather fetching trademark KISS 'Starchild' make-up. You can watch it on Youtube, HERE: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L6Jex4lwz_U This prompted me to wonder if a new movie was perhaps in the offing. Sources clo...
