"Yawaraka Sensha" (or "Soft Combat Vehicle"). Apparently number one in the current Japanese 'Entertainment Chart' according to an internet poll published in my newspaper today, although I have to admit to never having heard of it before. Candy toys: http://i70.photobucket.com/alb...

Manko. Mmm ... manko! Try asking the waitress to show you her 'manko' next time YOU visit a Sushi shop! Similar in taste to toro, young manko is the best. Mature manko is sometimes a little dry. Try asking for "Wakai no manko kudasai!", ("Young manko please!"). Or "Furui no...

Okay ... well, here's mine: http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i85/Aliceshouse/060920_133501.jpg http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i85/Aliceshouse/060920_133601.jpg Like I say, almost definitely a GL-GR' (I got it from a reliable source). The silver spray on the body is quite thin, but enough to catc...

So ... I guess that's a "No" then, is it?

Can anyone clarify the difference between Rumble Monsters Pharoas GL-GR and GL-GR' ? There's no indication on the figure or the header cards. I've read that there is (quote) "some difference in the paint", but what exactly? Even the sellers on YJA don't seem sure which one they've got some...

Am I tripping, or is it everybody else around here?
Oh, you mean the 'significance' thing!?
Hm... curiouser & curiouser. The kanji just says 'Red Lotus'.
Do you own a sports car?

'Kaiju for Twinkies' or not, I think this is great!
And if they can make Gamagon holding a little plane,
why not Usagi-don holding a giant doobie?
Maybe there'll be an expansion kit, with smokes AND turds!
Anyway, where do I sign?

Uh... Look under the kanji writing in this red chrome blobby pic ... http://www.datadub.com/skullbrain/blob-01.jpg Is it just my imagination, or does that say "GLENN" in Roman letters ??? What does this signify? I don't know, BUT I THINK WE SHOULD BE TOLD!

The Red Chrome set sold for 15000yen at the shop.
I didn't count, but there looked to be quite a lot of them.
Don't know if they sold out ...
I didn't get one. Too rich for me.

I know that at Mandarake in Japan they have a full size fiberglass version with light up eyes. My friends brought back a pic! Sorry to drag up an old thread, but this is the one Paul's talking about: http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i85/Aliceshouse/060105_164701.jpg Think they sold it now.

Title of this exhibition is 'Duramatic'. 'Dura' is slang for 'wig' in Japanese in much the same way as 'rug' is in English, and it's a pun on 'Dramatic'. There is some connection with his collaboration on a friend's recent movie "Dura Deka", or "Rug Cop" (I gather the hero uses h...

No hate here ... only LURVE ...
Seriously though, the Black Anarchy [expletive deleted] is one of my favorite pieces ever.
It was, and remains, a centerpiece of my entire collection.
But "Kaiju For Grown-Ups" ???
Do me a favor. That's just insulting ...

These are called "Petite Henshin Cyborg" figures and were a fun side project that they made (all hand cast). I have a set, I believe the Ramos has a set, and we even migt have a spare or two kickin around..... I might've known you guys would be on top of this! (I found Ramos blog too, tha...

I've got a 'baby' one ... does that count? Actually when I first saw pics of the Gogamejira I thought it was a RIDICULOUS sculpt - that outsize head & tiny wings. And I don't dig all the colors I've seen on the web. I've only ever seen one of the big ones first hand once. It was (kind of turquoi...

Thought some of you might like these: http://www.hirogrim.com/funyakohome.html (click on the pics). Before you get too excited this website appears not to have been updated since 2004. And also apparently they are now worth much more than 3500yen! Wish you could see the body properly - SO cute. Like...
