Post Skull Toys x EXOHEAD x toybot studios...in a nature setting
On my way out to a trip to the mountains, my Exohead set, painted by Kirkland, came in the mail on my way out. I was happy to take them along for the ride.

Actual sun glare reflected off the jewels in the eyes, no Photoshop.

Took my Bullmark Red Baron along too.

Great pics. You did a killer job accentuating the clear vinyl.
Those are some ominous looking clouds in the background, adding to the overall vibe of the shots.

Ghost of Jimi is great. Reminds me of the style of the old MMs where the body was a bright color and the helmet almost clear.

Those photos really have an old-style tokusatsu feeling to them- almost like they're from a movie set.

Thanks guys! And thank you Kirkland for an amazing paint job!
The weather was pretty crazy that day, the sun came out for only a few minuets so I could get those shots. It was snowing only about 10 min. further up the mountain too.
akum6n, I hear you on the old style Tokusatsu look. That's usually my inspiration when photographing toys.
Thank you.

Holy shit I love that Red Baron. RB is one of my favorite giant robots, and that one is a beauty.

I just started watching Red Baron recently, and I LOVE it!
I've seen a lot of Tokusatsu in my day, but Red Baron is in a class by itself. Hands down my favorite giant robot.
