Damn Doubt they sell more albums world wide than any other band. Not just because they completely suck ass but because it sounds like bullshit. Ask that guy for the actual sales figures. Here's some: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_be ... _worldwideProve it Skull Candy.

So far, that's the hardest statement to swallow I've come across on this board - regardless of anyone's option or tastes, I don't at all believe that to be a fact. I'm sure I'm not the only one, either. Nothing against you btw, just find that to be very unbelievable

Re: Joe Hahn of Linkin Park's collection
HAHAHA that meant CURRENTLY out of any rock band making new music, they are the best selling, it even says on that list, the only other recent rock album to out sell it was Beatles 1 in 2000, and they hardly count as a new band or new music. Backstreet Boys outsells them but they hardly counts as a band or rock, well arguably so does LP. Personally I have never been able to stand linkin parks music nor do I see how they sold the same album three times, one with jay-z rap even. Collin Shots wrote: According to my friend at Skull Candy that works with them, they sell more albums world wide than any other band I should have put currently at the end of this or something, I obviously didn't think they topped an all time list. They don't have enough back catalog to even come close to the beatles. Obviously my friend doesn't have a time machine to go back to work with ABBA, Rolling Stones, or Meatloaf back when they were the best selling bands so I figured that was irrelevant. I think he should build an exact replica of the old SB vault.

Re: Joe Hahn of Linkin Park's collection
i am by no means a fan,,,but when they are only one of two artists on that list from the past 8years,,,that is saying something... they are also one of those bands that is far more popular outside of the US... they seem to play massive shows (60,000+ people) in europe every summer... also,,when i was in venezuela earlier this year,,they were one of the few western bands that i heard blaring out of cars & tons of kids were wearing their t-shirts,,,who knows?? maybe they were on south american tour right then... also,,a couple years earlier when i went to brazil,,i noticed linkin park all over the place too... now,,,only if this dude joe would spread the wealth & help out with my growing toy-induced credit bills,,,bring the fruits back to the people & stop hoarding

Re: Joe Hahn of Linkin Park's collection
while I'm not a big fan of keeping a ball rolling off topic, but on the topic of their "current" sales (and speaking of hit-or-miss bands for people to like/hate) I'm pretty confident that the new album Death Magnetic from Metallica woulda blown theirs away, especially worldwide

the Usugrow is fine, but mostly that's lot of money spent on garage-sale clutter

Collin Shots wrote: uhhh have you heard that album yet? Not even all metallica fans will buy it I know a lot of people who've sworn off Metallica at least once, and most of them bought the album (at least on iTunes) to try em out again after hearing about it. I'll go ahead and ASSume that 50% or more of the record sales on Death Magnetic were people who were just curious/giving them another shot. I didnt say the people buying the album would like it If Metallica is on my speakers, it's like 20 years old

Apparnetly the world is over-populated. I'd suggest hunting down and killing everyone that has bought a Celine Dion album...jesus that list was depressing.

Re: Joe Hahn of Linkin Park's collection
Well back catalogue wise do they appear in that chart again since Hybrid Theory?
Its interesting that noone really has blockbuster sales in the last 8 years.
The internet is probably a huge factor but I'm fairly certain there are better selling bands these days.
Jack White is on some list as part of one of the richest couples in the UK, he lives in Nashville but is married to an English model so they got counted.
I wouldn't be surprised if the White Stripes make more money currently than Linkin Park does.
Jack White has more talent in his little pinkie than all of Linkin Park put together so that'd be justice at least.

Re: Joe Hahn of Linkin Park's collection
Pretty cool stuff, but I was quite bothered by the Usugrow wall. Come on now how is it possible for one person to own all of those. I mean this has to be pretty much 90 % from his last few shows. Fuck, let others have a shot at buying art work.
As an artist I would rather see 1 piece going to one person, rather than all of my art going into one room where no one will see them.
And as far as toys go, all I like is the SOD figure and his KAWS stuff.
