I had a little too much of that shit on my 30th. Maybe never again. I should have known too, the bottle was called Jekyl and Hyde!!!
Black and Red fairies too??
How do you drink yours LD?
I have been told of the Atomic Bomb where a shot of Absinthe is dropped into a glass of red bull and you scull it all down quick. I haven't done this as I hate red bull.
My 30th I just did the sugar thing, but doubt it was well or properly done.

I got the bottles on a six month deployment. The day I got home I went to my buddies house and just wanted to give it a try. About an hour later we were looking at the bottom of the bottle
I was soooooooooooooooooooooo beyond fucked up.
We started with the sugar thing, then we were just drinking shots of it.

Any of those the the real deal absinthe? Like what the crazy artists were drinking back in the day? From what I know of it this stuff was illegal after a time and is only really filtering out there again after the recipe was changed to remove the halucigenic addictive bits.

my understanding is the bottles I have are all legit. Meaning illegal.
I got them in Spain, France and Italy.

My understanding is they produce legal absinthe now, but you can still get the illegal stuff, made with wormwood under the counter in some back alley spots in France. Don't know about Spain and Italy.

Yeah you can definitely get the altered legal absinthe and it's popping up more and more, but the stuff with the wormwood is the real deal. (This means in a head spinning sort of way thingy)

Hide the axe!
I had this stuff in Amsterdam at my batchelor party. That shit is no joke! The stuff I had tasted like ass, but kicked like a mule. It felt like all the air in the room was replaced by jello, and I was ready for some impressionistic painting.

I saw a bottle recently (non-wormwood) and the box had art by Ron English.
