 my tiny collection
a bit delayed but im headsarereal and these are my toys. most of my collection cant be shown here because its western. its great seeing everyones collections of the different colorways but i cant afford it. i try and buy what i like based on availability and my affordability so i cannot buy lots of toys regularly or even the same toy in different colors very often. recently i splurged and added a few new things from yja through tokyo buyers who i love to use. they also will purchase direct from an individual store if you know the store info and product info which is how i found most of my older stuff. i also find good deals on smaller private person to person auction or sale websites from time to time. i hate ebay because most the prices are so high its a joke to me. i also find more wrong or false descriptions dealing on ebay. call me whatever you like just not DUDE or BRO i am a woman. well heres my stuff and thank you for looking. woops forgot my name Laura

gatchabert wrote: skullbees are nice but skullbrains are better good one i havent seen one in person but i would like to see all the secret base toys up close without the risk of purchase. maybe i would like some and maybe not. for now i have to buy one just to see it. i forgot to say the skullwing is severely damaged on its head paint on the back so i got it at a good price. it looks perfect from the front. i have more hooded zombies but i cant find them. all my toys are in boxes. i could only find those. thats the only toy i have ever had more than 2 of. now my first custom toy buy is a hood zombie. makes them special

 Re: my tiny collection
A lot of other folk have already commented; but this is a very nice collection. Loving the Secret Base and fight figure focus with some classics like the OG Red Skullwing , Samhain Frankenfighter and fanclub pirate. Space Troopers look good, and teh zombie collection is a nice focus on one sculpt. Yeah - great start!
With all the bargains on the board lately, now is a great time to be starting out - but dont take these bargains for granted - a few years ago it would have cost an arm and a leg to get some of these figures (e.g Red Skullwing cost me just under $300 in 2006 and I was STOKED to even get it!). Enjoy!

 Re: my tiny collection
Great collection; and Muton is right- these days prices are very soft/flexible compared to a few years ago. It's always easier to deal with folks on the Skullbrain boards than some other routes. I've had serious hookups from people I've barely talked to; people who could gouge the heck out of unsuspecting collectors on auction sites but who would rather keep it in the family.
Good luck with the collection!

 Re: my tiny collection
thank you to everyone for stoping in. mutonismyfriend i cannot believe that price. i couldnt pay that much if i wanted to. i payed 85 dollars for it but it has bad paint damage on the back of the head or wings. my clear frank is yellowing, is that normal for clear vinyl? i dont smoke so that cant be it. i think the bloody ghost frank is one of the more expensive toys i have bought. when i saw the auction i just had to have it. i really hope to focus on my zombies but have had an over stimulation in toy knowledge here and keep telling myself, i have to have this or that. its hard on a fixed budget but like you guys said maybe i can find some affordable sales. thank you all for the warm words and welcome.

Some yellowing is pretty normal on a clear vinyl toy. Keep him away from sunlight to minimize the yellowing though. Very cool start to your collection.

 Re: my tiny collection
Laura, great collection! That clear Frank is really great, and I second the "no sunlight" rule...ever. But don't let that steer you away from clear.

Yea, screw the sun! Take vitamins. I don't let it touch any of my art when I can. Tattoos, paintings, prints, toys. You gotta watch that acid too atleast for paper and paint.
