 Re: 2009 Collection [4/26 - A Few Buttheads]
Last night/morning before going to bed (Hubby made me ), I noticed that one of my Butanohana dinos was glowing when I turned out the lights. So I ran around with a flash-light this evening to see which of my other dinos glowed, and it turns out that only the Grumble Toy exclusive versions are GID. Akum6n, can I please ask if any of your early version dinos glow? ...I would post a pic of my herd, but my camera just decided to go wonky

akum6n, where do you score these Howatons? These are hard to track. Love them.

 Re: 2011 Collection...
Hey why not. Some of the first- and most difficult to find- Max Toy Co. items. The packaging is quite excellent and ahead of its time, if you ask me. Check out the early version of Drazoran on the header.

 Re: 2011 Collection...
Another neat find. Back before anyone knew about Elegab, he was releasing vinyl figures of Dokuro Taro under the radar at various toy shows. I believe most of these early figures were done in collaboration with a hobby company called Kojikado (see link here: http://www2.ocn.ne.jp/~kojikado/sakuhin/nari/dokuro.html). There were actually several versions of the solid color and clear green Dokuro Taro sold over the years. Although I can't find the link now, I remember seeing the announcement for this one after the show ended. It was so different from the other stuff, and I really wanted one- unfortunately, it was limited to only a few pieces. Somehow or other, I managed to find one a few years later... The character info from Kojikado's website says that this is a version of Dokuro Taro that has been poisoned by a monster... creating Crazy Dokuro Taro! No idea about the jumprope.

 Re: 2011 Collection...
Holy crap, those are three awesome hero vinyls. I am constantly bummed that I did not discover vinyl enough to have access to cool finds like the early Captain Maxx stuff or the fantastic small-scale Elegab stuff. That custom Taro is incredible. I'd love to see more of those early works, because the versions on that link are great. I am sooo glad I managed to snag one of the clear green ones that were in the webstore a few months back, even if it's a much simpler version.
