 Obakes and more
I feel a little silly posting pics of my meager collection, given the amazing photos that have been posted lately, but I'm feelin' the love of my fellow boardmembers who are helping me complete my obake collection, so I thought I'd share what it looks like currently.
Here are my obakes, minus two on their way from Japan and two coming to me very shortly from my beloved boardmates (the mutant heads are going to have to move).
My minis
My woos
My orange shelf
So all told, a fairly modest collection, but I'm happy with it. I have a few additional pieces scattered here and there. I've just got to get some better displays.

Great photos (as always)! If the Mutant w/GID pellets is really taking up too much room, I'm sure I could find some space on one of my shelves. (Don't want you weighted down w/ a 'shelf hogger'.)
(I'm only looking out for you.....honest.)
And what 4 Obakes are coming? (What won't you have?)

I have the purple clear sheet and orange w/ clear white sheet coming from Japan. I just scored a pink w/ clear sheet and gray w/ clear sheet from board members. Oh, and I have the bloody Balzac version (hopefully) on it's way as well.
I think that just leaves the yellow sheet and gray sheet, which I'm not crazy about and may not get. Plus the two in my want list: orange w/ black sheet and black w/ GID sheet.
Did I get them all?

Nice stuff!
I've always really liked all of those older obakes but I've never managed to get any of them for some reason.

First your collection looks GREAT!! Second please don't leave these two out in the cold. They should be with their brothers!! I waited forever to add the Yellow one and I'm glad I finally got him and the Gray one is even nicer than him. They are not the worst Obakes out there.
Happy hunting.

It's all about symmetry and themes - and you've got both covered well. Loving the orange, too; the orange Halloween set is one of my favorites.

I agree 100%,I think your collection is simply beautiful,I'm just starting my collection of japanese kaiju, and I have already learned that this stuff is alot harder to find than all tha other stuff I have ever collected, but that is what makes it so fun,I look forward to tha day that I can have a collection half tha size of yours..

Wow, I come home from work to this! Thanks for all of the nice comments, folks. It's only just been lately that I've felt my collection could even hold a candle to some of the amazing ones I've seen on here.

Yeah, I have a feeling they will eventually find their way into the collection. I really love the clears, and want to get all of those first. But my first obake was the orange and black halloween from last year, so that has a special place in my heart. The yellow would be nice as it helps to fill out the rainbow. I'm still not sold on the silver yet, though. jltohru wrote: oh no.... i've fallen off my woo game!!! i NEED that one on the right!!! i assume its glow with flesh paint??? he's really quite marvelous!! *so jealous* the rest of your collection is great too. its not the number of toys, its the quality!!
Jackie, I aspire to one day have a Woo collection as amazing as yours. It was largely pics of your woos that made me realize I had to have one (of four ). The paint on the GID in the back, right is more of a bronze-y copper-y color than flesh. It's prety cool. I'll try to take some better pictures some time soon when the weather's better.
