Very nice Moog, I'll have to take a peak at that too the next time I am in D&Q. Picked up some reading material of my own recently. Really looking forward to sitting down with these and reliving some great stories and art - they don't come much better than this for me.

Probably the best Alien ever IMO. I am such a fool for still not owning one, I've always been waiting for just the right opportunity when I had the funds. Amazing figure, and a brilliant score. Congrats.

'Screaming Metal' in French. Some Moebius covers too . . . . very cool. Wasn't it Ridley Scott reading Heavy Metal that inspired him to do 'Alien'? . . . I think it was

Yeah if you check out 'In Search of Mobius' it delves in [a bit] to the connections between Giraud, Charlier, Jodorowsky, Giger, and Ridley Scott. Quite interesting to see, and think about what it would have been like to be among that circle of creative genius.

Awesome Jeff, I am sure it would have sold out instantly here too. Brilliant design, and the band sounds sweet too.

Re: The "What You Got In The Mail That Isn't A Vinyl Toy" Thread
Nice! I remember when I was a kid, my father used to hit used book stores everywhere we went (yes, the collecting bug was passed down to me through heredity), and we traveled a lot at that time. I found the very first issue of Heavy Metal at one store and bought it for cover price! I still have it, in mint condition. ultrakaiju wrote: Very nice Moog, I'll have to take a peak at that too the next time I am in D&Q. Picked up some reading material of my own recently.
