Mr. Fat Drainpipe. Something I thought I would never come across. If you've seen the painted images..it looks like it would be about as big as the Marios from Wonderfest however...it is tiny.
This is from 2002..So it's probably one of Gargamel's earlier ventures into toys.

Amazing piece of toy history.

Hmm, so 2002 would put it right around the time when they were still making silver jewelry. The box of the Mecha Acroyear ring has a 2002 copyright mark, but that was one of the later jewelry pieces, if I recall correctly. At any rate, it must be one of their first 'toys.'

EDIT: Wow, it even predates the Gargamel Mutron Microman suit (2003):

http://visibleinnards.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=8075

I wonder if this was THE first Gargamel toy.

There are several in his infamous collection shots (along with some of the cleanest examples of the rare Mario stuff from the 80's.....)

I wanted to get this out of my system before the flood of SDCC scores starts to occupy this page...

The butt-end of my Thrashman collection. Almost makes me wish that they hadn't clipped my tail when I was six weeks old.

I wish I knew how to find the old Gargamel site from years ago, it had all the jewelry and early stuff on it, it would be nice if it was still out there somewhere. Somewhere I have the Jet Jaguar ring they did, would love to have the Gaigan too!
