Haha! Funny article. I actually took my M1 Reptilicus blank apart a couple of years back because a friend had written to ask about just that- he'd heard about the pachinko balls but wanted confirmation. Indeed, they're there in the tail, submerged in resin.

Ha! What a great shot. I had not heard that, but a very great story and even better now that I know it is confirmed. I love hidden toy mysteries. Love that you were able to get the 'evidence' shots; I can already imagine an art series of x-rayed kaiju toys and heroes.
Ah, but that just maintains the mystery of it all. I have to give a props shoutout though for a background appearance of a nice Bandai collection! Time to add some of the classic 80s Ultras in there Rei!
Box art even depicts him being chase by police after the hit and run.
