Re: Gargamel Appreciation & Collections
NYCC / SDCC are just getting too big, I think. The fact that Saturday tickets for NYCC sold out so quickly this year means a lot of people miss out, and the booths aren't getting any cheaper either. It's a sad reality, but hopefully we'll see some smaller, more toy-based shows starting up soon.

D-Con would be awesome, hopefully that's is the plan SDCC will be not the same without Gargamel booth, I will really miss them this year.

I'll join the choir in hoping no Gargamel at SDCC points to them being present at Dcon. I've never seen their booth in person, and this would be a dream come true for me.

What's the deal with this custom show at Angel Abby? Haven't seen any word about it through Gargamel channels..

Info here. http://blog.livedoor.jp/gargamel/Save the scobby-doo conspiracies for the nag forum. Also if you don't like a company unfollow them and ignore them. After a few things they pulled, I want nothing to do if them. Never understand the point of following someone you don't like. And Yes I'm fully aware that every single "piece" might end up on yja or mandarake but it's about the bigger picture. Instant gratification and the 'buy it now" will eventually cause burnout and a low bank account. It's all about pace. Yes the toys look great but knowing the dealer? I'll pass and wait for the next round.

Re: Gargamel Appreciation & Collections
Fair point, however even though AA isn't a retailer I would buy from I still like to follow them to see pictures of toys that I probably wouldn't see in other feeds.
zoinks looks like we got duped again.. Looks like Gargamel only posted that blog entry today though, in our defense it looked a bit fishy without any word from Gargamel about it. Still strange considering the stories from the past few years with LBs etc.
I would love to make an image of the Scooby gang pulling a rubber mask off a ghoul to find Kiyoka's face under there but I gotta scram and play tennis in 10 minutes!

Charlie, where on earth did you take those gorgeous Globby photos? I've never seen such clean and clear water. (Then again I haven't travelled much, the only bodies of water I've seen have been the nasty Long Island Sound and the Atlantic off the other side of Long Island )

Re: Gargamel Appreciation & Collections
I've seen the clear pink standard size walking Hedo hawaii version - was there a opaque pink hawaii version of this figure? If there is I think I have a new grail at the top of my list.. If anybody has a photo please post it here.

Found a pic - the link was broken on the original post so I'll just post it here for future generations long after we all die
