it just says "godzilla collection" on the box front, but that's a great set of reproduced history you've got there. is there an isbn by any chance? an included booklet with a timeline? anything to put all those bits into context?

^^^ Ha ha, my avatar is in a Garamon sandwich!

I was wondering something similar to the above - any idea when the set was produced? First I've seen it.

Happy to be part of a Gary sammich.

The damage to the box aside, it does seem a bit older by my reckoning, though the price on it is high for being very old. I don't see any Heisei stuff represented in the material though, so maybe this came out in celebration around one of anniversaries during the period (late 80s, early 90s maybe)?

No ISBN. Unfortunately, since I can't read any of it, I have no clue as to deciphering a timeline. Nothing stands out. I tried reaching out to August R., but he did not respond. Hopefully I will hear from him and pass the info along here.

The box is about 15 inches long, so some of these documents are quite large! Of course, many fold out (the photos only show them folded).

Yeah, it sucks about the box damage (the contents are pristine), but that is probably why I was able to win this auction. There is really a lot of material in here - quite a heavy package. It took me a while to go through it all. I am pretty ecstatic about having this.

I also just won these posters on YJ, so I am doubly high right now. I love these (I believe that one was used on the cover of a Trendmasters toy), and since they are not too old, the price was very reasonable.

One of Michael's best, no doubt about it. I was pumb broke when this came up and it was heart-wrenching. I know it must have been crazy work, but we need to see more large pieces from you man!

They are, news should hit Monday of what colors they'll be. No prints though for the repress. Originally they only had permission to press the amount the did already, but got an OK for a second press.

Those tumblers are just superb. No reason you should not be enthusiastic and outright giddy at having them. Just one of those would probably put me through the roof. The colour and artwork is spectacular. Couldn't go to a more deserving fella. Congrats!

Little Fluffy Gigolo Pelu, Volume 2 by Junko Mizuno and Fantagraphics
Image

Very cute, sexual, and morbid japanese comics about this alien ball of fluff looking for love and meaning on Earth. The first volume was published in 2009, and there is still one more volume to go! I hope sales can speed up the English translation production!

Here's a couple of panels from inside. The book is definitely more sexual in nature than violent/morbid, but I thought this would be a good page for SB.
