Just scored a beat up Mazinga on ebay, cleaned it up real nice ( the head paint had all kinds of greasy spots), added some repro missiles, repro silver stickers and boom- nice piece. He's the one on the left, the one on the right is one I recently jazzed up a little, with repro missiles and a repro jet scrander wing piece. Which is an amazing accessory , I'd love to find who made them and get some blow-molded work done from them.

^ Not familiar with the book you mention, but this is full of poster work for Akira, Steamboy, etc., as well as graphic design work for everything from cameras and watches, to street fair's and album covers. Very impressive book with images printed on thick matte paper showing off deep, rich colors without a gloss coat obfuscating things. Also contains a bitchin' fold out poster, and an interview (English translation too ! )

^ It is a bit pricey, luckily I set aside a few bucks when I heard it was coming out. Still, even from California to California, with tax and all.... I think it totalled $81.30. Obviously I think it was worth the cost, and was even more impressed once I got it. I even wipe down the counter and wash my hands before I look at it
Thanks for the suggestion on the other book....added to the list

As an added bonus for my latest purchase, I got new insides for my clear Slash Popy MG in the form of a clear blue rubber skeleton figure that happened to fit perfectly. *thanks JP*
