^ AMAZING!! I love that style of artwork from the old magazines, records, etc. Were there ever compilations like this of the old kaiju artwork? I know there are tons of kaiju books out there, but I don't recall seeing a book dedicated to these types of illustrations.

Could just as well have put this in the 'Comics' thread I suppose, but anyhow. This has been my reading material of late. Spoiled for cartoon boobage. (because I am sure it is shocking to all of our innocent internet readers)
And shot of a great article on toy robot collectors from one of these issues. I know, most people on this forum don't know what it was like to collect in the pre-internet days, but this kind of stuff has fascinating insight. And it builds a knowledge of the history for people new to the general area. If you think spending four months checking a few internet sites to find your 'grail' makes you a guru of collecting, might want to reconsider that. I know, no one on here would ever think that though.

Damn, I love that Green Army. They are entirely excellent, but I would settle on just the gorilla and bear. I really need to somehow hunt these down. Congratulations on scoring all those!

I started miniatures company for a table top game I wrote and I just got the first production pieces back from the first sculpt. I'm really excited and hope to have the other pieces back for the other sculpts soon. And unlike vinyl toys, I *want* people to paint these.
A bag of miniatures
That bag is all this guy, Sid the crust punk
A shot next to a rule to show size of the miniature in putty before being cast.

They are available now. The next two sculpts, goth girls, will be available next month I think. Then more crusties, some edge dudes and hopefully some black metal dudes.
