Ha, seems like lil' D could use a bath after a day of fun playing around in the dirt too long.
He actually didn't root around in the dirt at all! I've always been very careful with him, including never having washed him after I got him! I guess I thought he looked cute all dirty, so I've never bathed him. Someday maybe

Well, to each their own, but I wouldn't go exactly into the 'patina' argument with these guys (and as one who refuses to dive right in to the vintage world D, I am negating your view out of principle alone ). I think a night little soapy bath does these toys great. [and it is kinda fun to boot!] There is still no questioning their 'vintage' appearance after you clean off the dust and grime, but might as well make him look as nice as he deserves, no? And you can always 'redirtify' him at your hearts content. But hey, it is not like I have toy ocd... or something.....

What a fun lookin' fella. I might otherwise be suspicious coming across such a chap and wondering what exactly he has planned with that arm behind his back, but the googly pupils and cheerful smile make it all just hunkey dorey.

Agreed! But there's also that "who, me?" look in his eye...

There's no need to be wary, Steve. He's just bringing ya a freshly smelled Okefenokee flower.
... That or he's hiding his travelin belongings cause he's in a bad neighborhood.

That is such a fine looking toy, Rei. I really love the Frankeruge colour tribute, and anything with mollusc ties (but esp. gastropods) is right up my alley.

Nah, I ran into him today while I was picking up my prescriptions. His cart was full of formula, tampons and juice boxes; I guess it was errand day at the King household.
I kept doing that thing where you rub your own nose, hoping they'll get it, but he just asked me if I had a cold. Classic RK!
All right, well I will forgive you then for having to go through the system to pick up meds. Crom knows how difficult it must be already. (But then, I guess when America is great - again - we can do away with all that silly stuff.)
