Thanks everyone. From what I've seen in collecting unpainted, black and glow are the most common. I had a huge shelf of unpainted glow but sold almost all of it a year ago because I favored variety of color. As for PK, I know someone with a glow collection that easily rivals mine, the only difference is he has a Mockbat instead of a Jinx. I'm sure a glow Jinx will eventually be made, although letting an unpainted 1 escape won't be an easy task.

Id kill for an unpainted King Jinx, let alone a GID one.

Ive seen some huge collections on this thread, I hope we get some shots of those again. People adding toys and selling, its fun to see how taste and focus shifts from year to year.

For me, for example, I was all about the PK resins, and then realized that he wasnt making anymore, so I kinda gave it up. I can only imagine how hard it must be to get blanks, since he rarely does let those get away.

Is a "theme" really necessary for a collection? Collect what appeals to you, and I bet a theme or patterns will eventually become apparent if you look at things as a whole.

I've come to the point of focusing on certain colorways now, solely do to the respectable shelf space involved. The GID army has won the battle of owning the coveted "top of the 'tolf" spot. Looking forward to adding to the VGA memorial thread after space fills up.

This hobby isn't about being behind...it's about patience. And patience pays off.....

Everyone's PK set ups look great, keep on going.

That's one of the hardest things to understand for newer collectors (like myself). I see people with multiple detolfs and hundreds of toys and have to constantly remind myself that they have been collecting for many years, if not decades. I am also younger than a lot of collectors here, who have careers while I am still in school. Just don't bite off more than you can chew, or you will have to regret selling like I have multiple times. I need to save money for purchases, instead of spending and then finding a way to pay for it later. It's also harder to enjoy everything when you have too much coming in the mail at once

Need to rebuild my PK collection when I have a more permanent job!

i know about patience, thats the reason I have what I have and refuse to lose a leg to flipper prices.

To be honest, patience and proximity do help. My collection wouldnt be where it is without the help of fellow collectors that have gone out of the way to help me get PK stuffs and that really makes the hobby much more fun. Behind or not.
