Re: Cronic Collections Thanks! What I'm trying to do with this set up is explore more patterns of light and color in Naoki's work. One of the exciting things (for me, anyway) of collecting Cronic is looking at a bunch of different figures, seeing patterns and rhythms, and then putting together a display that reflects that.
It's pretty cool to find two figures released 2 or 3 years apart which "match" each other, and which may be part of a larger group of 6, 7 ,8 figures. I don't mean matching in terms of repeated colorways or designs (Naoki rarely does this), but in terms of an overall feel, which may be through similar or complementing colors, shades, line work, etc.
Anyway, the whole cabinet is being "redisplayed" this way.
