I'd pick yourself up a tripod too, so you can learn manual settings using natural light, or lack there of, without a flash Also, if you do get a flash, get one that you can rotate so you can learn to bounce the light from the ceiling. I'm not a fan of using a flash, but especially one pointed directly at my subject. And take glow shots living dead wrote: A step up from my little point and click cameras. ^^^^^^^^^^ I ordered the walls notebook as well..have you tried drawing in it yet? I was wondering how well maker does on the pages?

I just got it in the mail today and I've barely had a chance to even flip through it. So I'm not too sure how well marker will adhere to the pages.. But from feeling the texture of the pages, I think pencil and pen should work just fine.

Not in the mail, but I just introduced this fella into our house on Wednesday. Six yo Italian Greyhound named Bailey! Rescue, really calm loving fella.

That's great! He looks really nice. I heard greyhounds are fast dogs of course, but rather lazy at the same time.
I got a puppy mutt from a shelter 6 weeks ago myself.
