Rich, first off - thanks so much for making a donation to the Kaiju relief fund. I was more than happy knowing the funds went to help Japan, something I've been meaning to do since the earthquake/tsunami. It was a blessed bonus to get the toy.

And I guess I've never paid attention to a size comparison shot, but he's just so huge. I was blown away. Your painting on it is excellent. Tomorrow when there is better light I will try and take a few more pictures of this devilish delight.

Thanks for posting that close-up shot of the Hitogomira Jay. I haven't been so luck so as to hold one in my hands just yet, but I had not realised until just now that the 'speckles' on him are [aren't they? :o ] skulls. They remind me a lot of the Kodama tree spirits
