I ordered thinking I had it. Even paid for it, then I get on a train come home and get an email saying it was oversold and I'm being refunded (which as we know with paypal takes a week). Great $113 in limbo and I'm SOL. I'm sure the same people that always end up with this stuff will...

:(
Crud. Again, I'm really sorry this all happened.
I'll be trying to upgrade the shopping cart, but my understanding is that when as many as 10 went through at the exact same second there just might not be much a better system can even do. Should have done a loto. :-(

I do think that KC increases the exposure of toy events, and seriously doubt that only 4 people viewed the news of this release since it was posted. You take your good with your bad. Sounds like there were alot more people chasing this toy for whatever reason. My statement was an observation, which I still believe to be true, not necessarily a complaint.

Jeff, I just trust that KC will keep reporting once SDCC 2012 passes this year?

Although I am glad KC is back, their coverage, as well as many others of the release, must have brought in a number of new people hunting this toy. Who would have thought? Fudge.

i'll put in a recommendation to joe that we just cover everything we deem as shit and skip all the cool stuff

as a side note.. i've looked at the numbers. Basically you and 3 other people look at the site.

Chris: It sucks, but it happens.
All these "veteran" collectors should know by now how things work.
Even w/ a lottery, you might not win.
There will always be complaining.
I think this was just popular today because it's green.

Yea, always a good and a bad.
I'm sure people there are a few people who wish I didn't post certain things because they want a better chance at it.
But then they also might come across something that they wouldn't know is coming up and appreciate it.
We'll deal w/ SDCC 2011 first and see.

I've been promised fast cars and beautiful women... both of which have yet to be delivered - I'm starting to think I've been conned. We'll see. (do you mean SDCC 2011?- if you mean getting a press pass for 2012, you can't get that til a year from now- even for this year, I don't know if I can get it yet)

Yea, I think he might have mistaken my statement.
Because when I tell girls I run a toy blog, they run away pretty fast.
And all I can do is admire beautiful cars.
Can't waste toy $ getting my own.

We're getting WAY OFF topic now.
Next person that posts after me better have pics of some TE toys or they're getting banned.

Gameldon release today? I was at the site at 10am (which is noon Pacific Time) through now and cannot find a link, but when I go to KC, it says SOLD OUT. Did anyone see a sales link?

I can tell you exactly what happened.
The response to this item was waaaay more than expected. I turned the listing on, then went back to my inventory to watch the stock quantity quickly dipping into the negative numbers. I had to quickly disable the listing to try to limit the number of disappointed Gameldon fans that will think they placed an order just to receive a refund.
I've looked into ways to try to prevent the cart from dipping into the negative numbers when many people check out within a second of eachother.. I can't seem to find a solution. If I had any idea the response would have been so huge I should have had a loto for this release.
To everyone who missed out and those who I had to send a refund to, I'm really really sorry about that. I wish there were more to go around. :-(

No worries, these things happen. I was at least lucky enough that the Gameldon got pulled from my cart before I could finish paying for it.. Not lucky enough to get one though... But that's ok... I'll eventually post it up in the wanted threads and hope for the best. I just really hope I won't see anyone flipping it on eBay...

Extremely unlikely... but on any off chance that someone here just bought one and regrets it, let me know and I'll be more than happy to take it off your hands ;) lol.

Seriously though, this new release is one of my favorite colorways of the Gameldon and I am not the least bit surprised that it went so quick... I'm just kicking myself that I spent that extra time writing a note for the shipping since I will be out of town later on... :P Ah well... Congrats to all of you who got one!

I think you're taking your mod job a little too seriously.

Relevant part: Harmond that's one beautiful Gamerudon! Man I need a GID version.

The blue and orange paint are glow in the dark , which you can kinda see in the bad glow shot.

^Tell me about it! Missed it by 15mins thanks to this one moronic security guard :x . The few that I knew would take the package on my behalf when I'm not around. Now instead of having it Tuesday, I'm hoping to find time on Saturday to pick it up. :x

Tell you what I'll take the package off your hands. I heard through the grapevine that Sato San does not want any one person to own more than five Gamerudon. Since you also have the GT version coming you might be over the limit by one. I can send you two MG5 in trade so you won't get in trouble with Target Earth
