Re: Your 2011 Lucky bag loot!
My top pulls from the LB: Drunk Seijin. Amazingly detailed piece; vaguely creepy. The marbled vinyl effect is pleasantly subtle. Mongolion. I've always been on the fence about picking one up. I'd have to agree that this is one of the best versions to date. The black vinyl has tiny glitter embedded in it; the white rub is very cleanly done. Leecifer HP Honoo. Pronounced Hoh-noh. It's always cool to see an artist paint a toy that they designed. There's several paint effects going on on this version, but they come together nicely. Also in my LB: Unpainted clear red Fenton Painted GID mini Mummy Gator GID Hood Zombie Unpainted clear green Burgerbuns.

Or at least was there any more clear red Honoos in the lucky bags? I would love to add him to my wants list, but if there is only one, I won't hold my breath.. Congrats on that amazing score akum6n!

Re: Your 2011 Lucky bag loot!
Dude this photo is beautiful! From my understanding that is the correct pronunciation (Hoh-noh). My wife works for a Japanese Bank and when we were working on naming we went through a ton of ideas. Honoo seemed the most fun, but even amongst the folks born and raised in Japan there was differences in pronunciation. I slaughter it most of the time! But then looking at the Mongolion pronunciation I figure I can call it whatever I want! And yes it has ass cheeks!

Re: Your 2011 Lucky bag loot!
The correct Japanese pronunciation for "flame" is actually Hono (short "oh"s), so it doesn't actually sound like "oh no!" (long "oh"s). I can see how the first "ho" could be pronunced like a "ha" by some people though.
(And Lee posted a picture where there was quite a few of them, so I don't think it's a one-off, Virginia. Unless it was Photoshopped?)

I really hope there's a standard release of a similar semi-clear honoo! I'd love the HP version, but will almost surely never have one

I really want an ice cream sandwich (Foster?) too.
Was this the first release? I hadn't even seen the figure until I saw D-Lux's custom.

There was a black one that was produced to demand a few months back. Have people actually received them already?

Are there? What's the difference between both? And yeah, some of the colours may be off, the pictures aren't always über-clear.

This Blue one seemed more common: Only noticed one of these Red all night: It could just be a 50/50 split. Who knows! And the Flynn HP Visighost is a run of 10.

Re: Your 2011 Lucky bag loot!
I have a question about discussing these ratios. When I was a n00b, I once asked about an Elegab toy that was made according to orders in three paint styles. I got hammered for just asking about it. Now here we have a very systematic list of toy ratios from the lucky bags. What's the difference? If you're talking about counts or talking about percentages, it still seems like you're discussing the rarity of certain toys.
Personally, I think it's OK to discuss this, but at the time others thought is was "disrespectful" to the toy maker.
Where's the hate?
