btw, once i saw this book about vintage store displays... i don't remember the exact name of this book but was something like "counter culture"... i've been looking at amazon and nothing. anyways... i love ad characters too!

I have to get that So Crazy Japanese Toys book. I have the Robot one that followed it, but not that one yet.
The figure is very cool. Great pick ups on all of them. I really like the big brain one in the top right. I think Ramos has a couple of those.

about the name... i'm not quite sure if is belzor, since i've seen this guy listed on ebay with a slighty differnt name "buzara" or something (i don't remember)... his name in japanese is バルザス

This name you wrote could be pronounced, Baruzasu, or Balzas; something to that effect.
