 KAKURANGER ONLY
I told the guy at Mandarake that I collect "Kakuranger only" and his eyes popped out. Since then I've had access to his secret stash of oldys. Finally narrowing things down, got rid of newer stuff in favor of the 1994 through 1996 lines. For some reason, these pics look very dingy.

I need to remember that line. Yes, "Hawaii Bullmark only!"

 Re: KAKURANGER ONLY
Damn!
Do you think it'd have the same effect if I told him I only collect Kamen Rider Black.
Maybe I should say I only collect Japanese toys... Hmmm.

Added pics on http://www.flickr.com/photos/27851887@N07/Once I find these little unpainted guys, I`m all done but these are going to be tough. Anyone here know where`s the best place to go for mini figures from Japan ( like the Kinkeshi guys )

 Re: KAKURANGER ONLY
beautiful collection. I could kick myself for selling off most of mine. I had mostly late 80's stuff, alot of Liveman. All the Godaiken toys, lots of little things from various places...
My favorites were the diecast ranger figures and the robots that would come with little rubber dudes. I have some old pics on my flickr if you get a minute to check them out, in a set.

Very nice! I see Sun Vukcan dx there too. That was my first. Fantastic robots there. Liveman rules.

 Re: KAKURANGER ONLY
I think half of the reason I loved them so much was the box design. So vibrant, with misspelled words...love that stuff. I was looking at your flickr photos and it's just incredible.

 Re: KAKURANGER ONLY
The packaging was the best part for me. I miss the box side handles and extra labeled insert overlays covering up most of the styrofoam on the DX robots. You can still find Fiveman all the way through Ohranger at local shops. I took this pic last October at a small mom and pop 2 blocks from Ban Dai. Toys from the late 80s/early 90s sitting on the shelf since release date, still priced the same, covered in dust (so best to pull from the bottom).

 Re: KAKURANGER ONLY
Finally found both matte and reflective versions of gold and silver colorways of DX Ninjaman, used as in store displays a few weeks before the actual toys hit. I love how they put reflective and matte circle stickers in the corner to let you know which version was inside...uh you know because the die cut window on the front is only semi huge and you may miss it.

 Re: KAKURANGER ONLY
I really like the simplicity of the gold and silver colorways. It's a class look!

 Re: KAKURANGER ONLY
finding the eraser figures is half the challenge! I am knee deep in Barom-1 eraser figures, two sizes, 11 characters total, five or six colors each = complete chaos. I am a nerd!

Next task: Go to CKA and tell them you only collect HP Bemon. I expect high res shots!
