I thought I better explain myself, these are just shots I am taking, teaching myself a bit of picture takin' and how to mess around on photoshop. I know Iam no greatt shakes but the purpose of this is to learn so I hop eyou enjoy them half as much as I enjoy taking them and playing with them,

my advice is to pretty much universally avoid photoshop filters if at all possible.

i like the color on the mini matango

and the background looks cool with the eyezon. maybe try taking some closer photos of it with the background blurred a little (dont blur in photoshop - when you get close enough the depth of field should make the background blur a bit)

or if your camera allows you to adjust the aperture then you can blur the background with the right setting.

Thanks for the advice guys!
Yes the mini matango is great, when backlit the colours do show but in real life he is tiny. I will try the blurring technique too! I have a few more with that background that I would like to post.
