So I went to Ikea last night (54 miles away) and bought my first detolf.
Heres my goods with several pieces still in route
to me I have scored all this in the last month and a half.

I'm going to make a trip to Ikea soon but not sure if I'm going the detolf way. I might just buy shelves...just the basic crappy wooden shelves that they have. One other thing I did notice from seeing someone else do it...a base for the detolf so the bottom shelf doesn't feel like the bottom. Do you need to put the doors in? I'm just lazy and prefer to grab my toys without having to open a door.

Wait until those detolfs start multiplying.

I do feel you on the base/riser for the whole detolf to raise the bottom shelf.
Yes you have to put the whole bastard (yes, its a bastard) thing together, I did it alone but I would suggest 2 set of hands. I'm going to look around for some clear acrylic risers or something to that effect.


HMS: Man, I have seriously dented my credit line lol. I think my total is around 2K give or take and thats not including SB clothing purchases .

Joe: That Cronic figure has some friends coming to the party, he wont be lonely for long. I'm only into the Baks though.

Kevlo: Technically Its in my ladies living room (hell of a fight) and It was a must for all who enter this home to see them displayed .

As far as the Cronic goes I actually have another Bak coming, GID, but I think the bak figures are my main focus as far as Cronic goes. But as a collector my taste changes more than a babies diaper.

For those interested I have added risers. I found clear acrylic boxes that were meant to cover collectible baseballs. The covers run around 1.29 each and are totally worth it. If you have a Michaels art supply in your town this is the place to score the goods. I also purchased one glass vase type thing I turned into a riser for my Pushead items. I bought them all out (plastic covers) so I ordered a few more in different height profiles.

I feel very honored man. I was able to see your collection when at meltdown gallery in LA. A few years back (October I think), I saw some art show they had there at the time but I will never forget the glory that your collection held over that store. You have the best I have seen yet, cheers to SB.
