 Wholesale Kaiju Adoption! Hey all...haven't really posted in this section much, so hello. Just recently came into a LOT of awesome toys that I'm REALLY excited about. I spent all day on Saturday documenting the stuff, and I figured I'd post a few shots just to say hey. The photos are nothing to write home about, but hopefully they'll be fun enough to look at once or twice. More at my Flickr acount. Have a great Apple Tuesday. Re: Wholesale Kaiju Adoption! Nice stuff there JH. Is that a proof sheet of old sci-fi covers you're using for the background? Pretty neat. I really like the way the Rangeas look in front of the background on this one. Especially the clear pink.

@Sumatra: The Chaos is a Koji handpaint. Super dayglo and Nightglow. Loving it.
The backgrounds ARE in fact a contact sheet of old Scifi paperbacks. They were used (in this iteration) as a spread for the Herman Miller magazine 'SEE'. The agency that did the design then took the opportunity to print out some big sheets of them and use them for wrapping paper. I of course stole a few dozen sheets when I was there last. They're cool, AND they're double-sided...I've got a light behind the backdrop and in some of the shots you can see the backside showing through for a neat-ish effect.
@Leadster: Thanks. I love that shot of the Rangeas as well. The space backdrop is just my studio monitor and they're standing on my super elitist Aaron Horkey Refill7 Skate Deck. I collect retarded shit.
