These are very detailed and my understanding is that he recieves the uncut parts direct from the factory. So there's a great deal of work even before he gets to painting. Since Paul is quite literally a one man operation, it makes it more manageable to release them in waves.
They are well worth the wait!

PK hit another one way out of the park. edit: i see now that that "beetle" arm is actually a beetle...whew! but it the green paint on the Grod does have this effect...
