Post Strictly Small Time -YJA Style
Sorry 'bout crap photo, but got a little over-amped here.
So about 2 hours ago I got this box:

Image

Almost all minis! Wondered why they didn't make the last box. Well here they are; new, old and boots all making nice together. Funky, dark, crude and chunky. Thinking of changing my screen name to "Gashapon Trash".

What erasers I did get were a pleasant surprise; they're all super large scale (2" or so) and many that I did not have. Put in a bid based on them being regular size, bulk deal. Hah. Bag weighs almost 4 pounds. I could erase a handwritten copy of "Remembrance of Things Past" and still have plenty left. Great sculpts on some of these buggers, too.

You guys I talked to needn't worry; last box comes in about a week and a half and I should have plenty of regular size kaiju pink erasers.
You know, you really want to check your pockets before you do the wash with these things. And umm, keep them away from pets and children.

1. Not sure what the name of the wrestler is; I'm thinking "Pumpkin Head in Yakuza Suit" but I'm pretty sure that I'm wrong. Heh.
2.Not quite sure of the name, but Babelfish makes it out to be "Dead God Killer" or something like that. I think he's some kind of vampire killer.
Anyone care to thumbnail the story arc?

s/b some extras in the next box. 'bout a week and a half to two, most likely. Then my wallet and I will be done on YJ for a while, I hope. Get my sales done and make some time to re-display the shrunken collection and play with 'em, can't wait.

Actually, they show up as fairly cheap sometimes. Otherwise I wouldn't have popped. The deal (which I didn't get) would be to find the sets as part of one auction so as to only pay one commish, one fee and one Japan local postage. As it is, these guys are affordable to anyone who can chase realxhead or sb regular releases.
'Course, I believe that these are re-ish. A really old set might run slightly higher, heh.

Vampire looking dude is Shinigami Hakase (Professor Death or Professor Grim Reaper depending on how you want to translate it). He was one of the leaders of Shocker in the first Kamen Rider show, and in the end transformed into Ika Devil (maybe the coolest original Kamen Rider kaijin?).

Sweet to know the truth, it is.
Love Ika Devil. Have a bandai of him, took me forever to find (Thanks S.A.!) and a little cheap gashapon of him. He's like a cross between Vegas Elvis and H.P. Lovecraft.
Joshua; it's gonna take me a week or two to get my sales sorted from my new incoming. Will prolly sell 'bout half of the uni-5, cause I just want a couple of those outstanding character/sculpts for the mini-collection. Assume that Bat Boy Leaf Man and maybe Bee Woman (reminds me of my ex) will stay with me, other Unis are semi-fluid.

Hey anybody; did Uni-5 make an Ika Devil?
