I thought I would start the new year off by finally posting some pics of the collection. I have resisted in the past due to not having a camera/detolfs/blacklights and living in a creepy basement, but I borrowed a camera and got over my trashy shame. The cardboard risers are custom, heh. I have a box in storage with about 30 (of my favorite) figures, but this is the bulk of it. Apologies for no good glow shots.

Thanks to all the boardies who have sold me items and shared the love of toys to help feed the kaiju fire inside me and consequently help keep me sane(r).

LOL I'm glad I'm not the only one who uses cardboard boxes as risers! The trick is to have lots of figures IN FRONT, nice and congested, so no one can SEE the box and know what a cheap-o you are Cool stuff.

YUCK, isn't the King Bee MG5 just dandy? Me loves mine. And kudos for having the DR/Rotofugi Marmon. I have it too, and for me it is the essence, and proof that modern-day kaiji is alive and well!

Wait. The Bear Model yokai in the front of the third shot glows??

Yeah, he is a really weird sort of glowie, semi transparent and super soft, squishy even.

Anything that vomits a tail will probably make it in my collection.

You know alot of cats here want you to post a glow shot when you post gid pics. I understand why but does everyone know just how hard it is to get a clear (not blurry) shot of glowing kaiju? Without a tripod, black light, and a decent camera it's almost impossible.

Anyhow, this might sound strange but one of the main reasons I love gid, is how great it looks not glowing! Bright colors on gid vinyl will always win in my book. It just looks great.

Where did you get the unpainted Sky Deviler? I need to find one of those. A may have to add the GID Vegetius to my want list, as well. That's a nice looking collection you have.

I got the blank Sky Deviler on the board. I imagine he must be from what was made for the Kozik Coral Sea edition because as I understood it the first painted GID Sky Deviler had glitter embedded in the vinyl? Turtle kaiju and Vegitius rule and SD is a wonderful compliment. Can't wait for the next Marmit/KBB glowie!

Speaking of htf...I'm still trying to find one of those little winged cats (sitting next to Vegetius/Booska/Chamegon). I know there was a thread at one time but I can't recall who made them???

I was lucky to find a GID set "Buy It Now" on YJA for cheap. Flatwoods gets most the attention but the cat is the standout imho.
