Wondrous shots D, especially love the minis. You are inspiring me to go outdoors for some photos, if only my feet weren't already icicles.

that was my first guess, but this mini version seemed a little to upright with none of the usual attitude in the eyes. i like it anyway! care to share a full-body shot?

I was after mine for a few years, actually, but I wasn't looking as hard as I could have. Your best bet, probably, is to comb Y!J for mini lots.

G'luck, and let me know if you spy a Varan! That's the last Toho little I need.

Two really great figures you picked up there, and I always like your backdrops for photography too. :) I really like how the hands on the mini version looks like he could grasp some weapons. Really impressive the amount of detail they squeeze onto minis that size.

^ the hits just keep coming. your photo feel like artifacts of a past era, maybe from a parallel timeline, where various cultural aspects merged and aged differently from ours. i'm not making any sense. just trying to say this: cool photos, bro!

Yeah, I agree Rei. Your backdrops are cool, a veritable potpourri of vintage ephemera, nice touch!

Dear lord, Choon! Must you live half a world away? Having either of those big boys around the house would make my days and nights a living dream. Well hunted, sir!

Few toys could diminish my enthusiasm for Buta and M1's takes on the hero, but here we are.

Thanks David. I know Paul and Mike owns them too. Three misses over 11 years! This proved to be a tough one.
Had a hard time finding a spot to shoot. Managed this one by the shoe cabinet, had to duck under the dining table. Sigh, what we do for toys.

 this is one of those times when a mere emoticon fails. the buta ultraman looks practically micro. congratulations on a successful 11-year hunt! well worth the gray hairs it certainly caused. what a tremendous toy.
