He was one of the "guest" characters like Pipi.

So, it looks like Icarus Guests as himself in dream sequences in the first 40 episodes, and as the post man in the first 49 episodes.
I guess Pipi was a bit of a minor character as he was only in 10 episodes.

In fact, he's right next to me being grumpeee. Poor guy seems to have gotten an ear and eye infection , and he hates his meds (especially the ear drops, which have to be refrigerated).
