 Re: Beetlar
Awesome shots, I love how nobody in the background even cares you have toys every where, classic. Those pieces look great together, I always get a better appreciation for a toy I dont collect by seeing them grouped. Dig the orange/black and the red/ gold's w/orange and green spray also.

 Re: Beetlar
great shots, impressive collection. I really wish I'd gotten into the Beetlar game earlier. they look like they're about to spar over that can of beer!

 Re: Beetlar
LOL Taiwan Beer - goes down smooth for insects and mammals. It is fun to be able to wander around with toys and snap shots. Nobody really cares. Fortunately the weather is cooling so taking shots outdoors is a lot less oppressive! I don't think too many folks are into Beetlar, so you can still find most of them at a decent price. I like the fact that he's releasing them at a pretty slow pace. I'd love to see more painted versions and less blanks, though.

 Re: Beetlar
Even the green-eyed Monstock gold Beetlar- nice! That one seems to be pretty hard to find.
I can't wait until they do a GID spray version.

 Re: Beetlar
Nice! I'm not going complete on these, but I need to get the Green Monstock #1, and one of the gold/orange Hobby Complex Beetlars and then I'll be pretty happy with my Beetlar collection. They've got such a great sculpt, just wish they were a little bigger.

 Re: Beetlar
Thanks, the rain and wind were pretty strong, but we did all right in Taipei. The mountainous areas tend to fare a lot worse, from landslides, flooding, etc. Unfortunately, we've been getting hit nearly every week with strong typhoons. Add to that the dairy scare and horrendous financial markets, and folks aren't in the best of moods. Well, having said that, I was at a mall today, and it was completely packed with oblivious credit carders. Keep safe there in the Philippines. I know you guys have also been hit by some serious weather recently.

ribbon controller wrote: I'm interested in that star wars poster in the background.i haven't seen that before That was released I guess around 7-8 years ago. It's pretty big - several feet by several feet - and has all the vintage 4" figures on it. I'll snap a better pic and put it up in a bit.

 Re: Beetlar
Sweet shots; always liked the first one that was here; kinda rainbow. Is this a quantum shift from cronic?

Roger wrote: Nice Star Wars poster! +1 !!!!! When was this released? Is it vintage Andy? Amazing, I really want this poster. Brings back memories when my Mum use to work for the Asian distribution for Star Wars toys. I use to go to her office and go crazy in the showroom. I would refuse to leave without a new SW figure. I even kept all the cards once I opened them. I still remember the time I found out Santa Claus was really my parents when I accidently found a shelf of all new SW goodies not delivered yet OK back to the thread. I love those Beetlers. My personal fav is the Hawaiian version.

 Re: Beetlar
Jordan - Do you mean the clear orange/black one? That's the Super7 version. Calvin - the poster was released around 8 years ago. The thing is huge. I'm glad I got it framed back then. I need to head out for a bit. I'll take snaps of the poster when I get back.

Naoki would kill this Beetlar sculpt with his style.

Poster and some of my other SW stuff: GID Diablo is hanging out with the 12" crew since I know what a huge SW fan Ilanena is. (Check out his Kennerific logo!)
