Nothing huge here; just rebuilding a Buta collection and got distracted by a fellow boardie's Yamo sale:

Image

This is a week and a half worth of answering the door and hushing the dog. Haven't been this busy in 6 years and probably won't be this busy for another 6.

BTW, the things in bags are a Buta Antlar, another Osaka set and one half of the Buta caveman release. In the sushi tray there are some Yamo GID micros, could easily become favorites... love 'em!

But I do love the new (to me) Buta dino best!

Yeah for some reason I was expecting it to be flesh (there was no mention of base vinyl colour on the release info) so it was a really nice surprise to see it glowing when the lights went out last night! The paint is in just the right places to make it look even more creepy in the dark.

About 10 inches - a little bit smaller than I had imagined but I'm glad it's short enough to fit on my shelves!

Nice pickups Rei!

The Bear Model Greenmons mini is a great one as well, you should add it to your lineup. I've not seen a Greenmons I didn't like, come to think of it.

Hmm, that is an interesting list, actually. Fun to see how you rank toys; though I am just a little surprised the BM beats out Buta on your personal scale, I do think the top portion of that range is highly weighted against the lower portions. i.e. the grouping of plant fellas I might expect to see on here (or in your personal collection) are differentiated from each other by very slight margins, versus random GM sculpt offerings that you might come across.

Thanks for the glowie pic Miami  . Kanegon is a fav of mine. Pardon my ignorance, but how do you take a glowie pic? Do you shine massive light on the toy, cut the lights, and take a pic using a tripod? Or is a more extensive setup necessary?

Sorry I just saw this, but ... Yes, that's how I did it anyway. Except no tripod, I just set the camera on a counter and I think I used the 10 second delay so it autofired.
