Welcome to the Island of Misfit toys!I've been chasing this Konami Sazer Lio for quite sometime, and just found one. So pumed, just need to track down his sword, the Lio Breaker. I thought I was the only one who watched that series 6 years ago or so, congrats

Nope, you're not alone. Love the show, too. I have all of the transforming versions of the Sazers. Awesome toys. Sorry for the crap photo. They're buried in the back of a display case. Getting them out is pretty much impossible without causing chaos.

 Re: SHITTY GRAILS
I just got this set of 1992 Halloween McNugget buddies still bagged though and the under 3 mcboo that isn't shown as well, probably my earliest memories of halloween toys were these and those pumpkin buckets, as I was 8 at the time. I didn't have them all back then though.

 Re: SHITTY GRAILS
Yeah the Sazer Lio is sofubi. I love the Sazer series. It's a Toho series that they produced to compete with Toei's Sentai franchise, and I just fell in love with the bright color pallet and the really rich design on the helmets. Thanks for the sweet comments.
Loving the Chicken Mcnuggets GREAT shitty Grail. Shitty grail is not a great thread title. I think I make an executive decision and change it to UNHOLY GRAILS.

 Re: UNHOLY GRAILS
This isn't the confessional thread, it's the stuff you just got that you think rocks but might be less than spectacular or not insanely expensive thread, off beat stuff, you know, like that smelly ass pepsiman figure. That photo of your action figure role-playing would work better in that creepy photo thread. Creepy in the fact you take pics like that of action figures. If it was vinyl monsters then I would totally understand

I just saw this, middle of last year at YJA and instantly liked this dude right here--two-faced character, someone might know the name? Unholy grail? I got him really cheap and seems like noone really is interested haha.

 Re: UNHOLY GRAILS
This one is pretty bad. Definitely a shitty grail. Deep Space Iron Man from ye olde days of Toybiz. This was a 10" up-size of the normal, smaller, crappy IM toys that had removable armor. Unique in that it is the only 90s IM toy to feature clear plastic in the body, it sort of became a grail of mine. The big figures can be a little hard to find. And I finally found one recently. This IM comes with two rubbery pipes that plug into his backpack (jetpack controls??), a gun that he has no way to hold, and two left legs. The plastic also smells horrid and stinks up your hands. To top it off, the box is impossible to open without cutting it apart, so any residual value in the packaging is definitely gone. I wish I could say that it is a decent toy otherwise, but it isn't. At least the clear plastic is pretty.
