And, if you also collect cryptids or yokai or folkloric creatures, consider joining this new facebook group for which this photo was taken:

I think there are eight (hopefully no others!)

And 3 marmit mothmen. I just found the black one the other day, so cryptid-wise, at least, I have marmit done.

oh wait, that's not true - still looking for a green Hopkinsville alien. Marmit really rocks when it comes to cryptids.

I just wish they were not do hard to track down. I am hoping that by having a group focused on just cryptids, yokai and other folkloric monsters, we'll all be able to help each other out. I've seen several Flatwoods on yahoo over the past few months, but had no idea who was looking for her.

Sp, if you collect them, please join the group:

I was looking at your collection photo again, and noticed that your Kaiyodo Flatwoods is different from the one that I have. The eyes on my version are blue; the face spray is orange-red and the body is brown.

I wonder how many versions of those are out there. I haven't been able to turn up much information on the Kaiyodo figures.

It might just be that it is very late and I am dead tired, but I am not sure which one you are talking about. I don't think any of these are Kaiyodo (which mostly does the yokai figures, I believe). There are medicom mystery museum minis there (two, and I am pretty certain the only two), 3 marmit minis (the only ones), one from an Artstorm mini monster collection, and a few unpainted that I am drawing a blank on right now. But definitely not kiayodo. Do you have a pic of yours to share? I am most intrigued now to see it and see if I can figure out where it came from.

Are you talking about this one, perhaps:

I did not know that was Kaiyodo, I associate them with the gashapon figures. Did not realize they do big ones. Yeah, this one is definitely different and on my want list. I don't know if there are any others besides the two.

^^ Yes, that is the one I meant. It is produced by Kaiyodo, although I don't have the header card in front of me for the name of the line under which it was produced.

The one in your photo is the one I have. I've never seen your example before.

Post Re: A gathering of cryptids - new pics
A conundrum of cryptids:

(Colors and saturation were manipulated just a bit as I wanted something colorful for the banner for my cryptid group. So if you collect these too and are worried you missed a colorway, you didn't.)

They're all nice, but the skeletal one is especially cool.
