 Manimal ' s custom Hedorah
Hello all.
I have been a part of this community for a short time but amd very impressed with everyone's collections. knowledge and good nature.
I am especially impressed with a select few people's custom talents
I got an airbrush and went headlong into this first custom
its a Hedorah - i dig Hedorah even though its a tough " first" sculpt
Be honest - how did I do ( I have thick skin - have at it )

Wow, the Man-Animal kills Hedorah! I love the metallic hues ... also how you brushed some blue onto the purple on the upper half. Good job on the eyes too. Did you mask the eyes? Hand paint them?
Dude, you gotta keep customizing kaiju. This is an amazing start!

thanks a lot - i really appreciate the kind words
i was pretty nervous about tackling this typa custom - its not like what i usually do
The eyes were not masked - just done by hand - one w. a pupil and one "dead" solid yellow eye

nice first custom! personally, i would have added some shading by spraying upwards with darker colors... but that's just my preference ( i still don't know how to use an airbrush very well btw).

if you check out the "behind the back " pic - i chose to do darker from back to front rather than feet to head - was a fun first try and Im happy that peoplefind it pleasing for sure! - this weekend will yield 1 or 2 more attempts at this fun new discovery!

Thats a great start, something about Hedorah/hedoran sculpts that people really let loose on.
I really do like the the blue on him, it looks like some sort of mineral/rock like someone painted fools gold blue!
