Not only is LASH one of the greatest RxH fans around here, but he is a very talented guy with that airbrush.
I sent him two unpainted Chaos figures, the KT black speckle (minus the cracker
) and the pearl red.
People discuss Holy Grails occasionally, and this is mine:
There is just something about the red vinyl (its a bit darker red than the pearl), metallic blue spray and gold highlights that is just sooooo perfect.
So the first LASH custom was actually a request for him to come up with an "hommage" colorway to this Evil. I felt pretty weird asking for this, because I really wanted LASH to have as much creative freedom for this guy, but at the same time...I really wanted to incorporate these specific colors.
So I decided to let him run wild on the KT, and go for the hommage colorway for the red pearl. Here is what the evil genuis came up with for the red pearl:
Here's one of LASH's photos...much better lit than mine, but really shows off the paint.....
I absolutely LOVE the gold fade on the feet especially as it melts into the metallic light blue.....and that effect of the darker paint around the NEW gold eye is just KILLER!
For the KT, LASH grabbed the scalpel and also gave this all black figure a new eye! The pink eye, combined with the metallic green and pink spray is simply gorgeous:
