of course they are valid remarks.

in my opinion, it would have looked worse if he tried to do your typical asymetrical pin striping. I think the randomness compliments the melty nature of the sculp. I can see where some might think it's a bit busy, but i love it.

Well said.

I'm not looking for cloned comments and I think the honest feelings are great. But I disagree, thats my opinion.

Pin striping is VERY hard. And just because this is out of the normal and throws you off doesnt mean it sucks. To "me" its different and I like it. I love the colors, you really need to see automotive paint to appreciate it. In hand its really like candy and has a depth that is beautiful. As well not all pin striping is the common stuff you see. This is great work and I think it works well on the sculpt.

All I'm saying is give things a chance people. Don't bash it because another thinks so. I appreciate negative comments, but I would like people to critique the less quality customs like this and appreciate the skill it takes to do great quality paint like this, even if you don't think its the normal.

To that point most of the compliments on any particular figure could be considered "cloned" and just as non-descriptive (rad, bitchin', love the color).

And again, there are a few posts giving props to the pinstripe work, me being one of them. I also think critiquing a customizer with talent is far more fruitful than a Fresh Meat with an airbrush, because they can see and make adjustments to their technique if they see fit. Most of the customs out there are just plain shit and that doesn't need critiquing, just avoided.

The pin striping on this is good. If you extract just the pin striping there is a lot of talent in that...but I think the face is a extremely busy and it's doesn't compliment the sculpt. To me it looks like pin stripping OVER a damnedron rather than a damnedron with pinstriping.

I think when I look at the cronic deathra. The pin stripping is concise, clean and not cluttered and with the gammepa... same thing. It's more of the... less is more theory.

I think with deadpresidents deathra...it would have been much much stronger and a better execution if the face had less dots. I think the back is amazing and the chest is very cool. But when it gets to the face..It's too much. I can only imagine how cool it would look with just the eye painted and without the dots. THat would be awesome in my opinion.
